Christian Science practitioners help people from all different backgrounds, religious, cultural, and those with no religious affiliation. No confession of faith is required. Prayer that addresses your specific need, given by a Christian Science practitioner, is called treatment. The expected outcome of this treatment is healing.
Christian Scientists believe and understand that each and every one of us is a cherished and loved child of God, and it is my job to affirm your relationship to God along with the blessings this relationship brings. It would also be my privilege to support your own understanding of your unbroken relationship to God, and how this relates to whatever challenges you may be facing.
Christian Science is based on the Bible, on Christ Jesus' words and works, and is explained in the book "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures", written by Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
I began studying Christian Science in 1992, took Class Instruction in 1994 with an authorized teacher of Christian Science, served for 7 years as a Christian Science Reading Room Librarian, 3 years as First Reader at a Branch Church of Christ, Scientist, and served as a Volunteer Chaplain in the Los Angeles County Jails. I have witnessed and experienced many healings as a result of my study and practice, both for myself and others. In September of 2011, I entered the full-time public practice of Christian Science healing. I am listed as a Christian Science Practitioner in the directory of professional services found in the back of The Christian Science Journal magazine, the official monthy periodical of The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, MA.
Christian Science practitioners charge fees for their services and are not paid by their church. My current fee is $45.00 per day which includes a telephone consultation and treatment. If you would like to meet in person at my office, the rate is $45.00 per half our, by appointment. For your convenience, I accept PayPal, checks, or money orders.
